AGRICULTURE AWARENESS PROGRAM
The productivity and quality of agricultural operations is extremely poor in India. We need improve the productivity by giving due attention to required inputs, rationalization and proper implementation/sequencing of different operations with use of improved appliances. ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST conducts Agricultural awareness program for the people to make them aware of the needs of the society and their responsibility in agricultural operations.

WIDOWS CARING PROGRAM
ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST give importance to the widows and provide them with the necessities. At present we give financial support and take care of 70 widows and help them with small grants from our well-wishers contributions and other essential needs for their daily life.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS PROGRAM
ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST promotes environmental awareness among all sections of the society by using different media including films, audio, visual and print, theatre, drama, advertisements, hoarding, posters, seminars, workshops, competitions, meetings etc. for spreading messages concerning environment and awareness and to mobilize people's participation for preservation and conservation of environment.

NATUROPATHY PROGRAM
The aim of this camp is to propagate and make popularize the naturopathy and Yoga system of treatment among the rural people, so that everyone can have basic knowledge of Yoga & Naturopathy treatment for health promotive, diseases preventive and curative. The program also gives training and practical demonstration on Natural food and Yoga, main theme being ‘food as medicine and medicine as food’. This programme is an ongoing one of ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST continuously targeting women population.

FOOD AID PROGRAM
Food Aid Programme is implemented to meet the dire needs of people especially widows, orphans, destitute, visually impaired and physically challenged. We support 30 such needy persons under this programme, with the support of our well wishers. After the social gathering we provide food and refreshment to the needy and poor on a regular basis.

AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM
World AIDS Day, observed on 1st December each year, is a day when people around the world raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and assert their duties and responsibilities with a view to increasing human cooperation and possible homogeneous correspondence between the mass and HIV affected people so that individuals and organizations come together to bring attention to the global AIDS epidemic and introduce ways concerning how affects of AIDS can be treated, how further spread of HIV can be prevented and how the world can ensure that a similar pandemic never occur again. The behavior change communication methodology was adopted through the distribution of leaflets, brochures and the pamphlets.
AIDS can be defined as an evil for our society and we have to combat this evil through the weapons of knowledge, care, respect and dignity for the HIV-infected persons. People suffering from this disease are not untouchable and they have equal rights to live in this society.

HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM
The Health Awareness program consists of educating children on Health Awareness and the public on health-related needs for children. The programs will liaison the community with the school by enlisting adult education and training on preventive health methods for children. It will focus on the effects of HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases such as leprosy, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Typhoid, and Hepatitis.

HUMAN RIGHTS PROGRAM
World Human Rights Day, observed on 10th December each year. The United Nations defines human rights as inter-related, inter-dependent and indivisible rights inherent to all human beings without discrimination. The realization of all human rights - social, economic and cultural as well as civil and political rights – is hampered by discrimination. All too often, when faced with prejudice and discrimination, political leaders, governments and ordinary citizens are silent or complacent. Yet every one of us can make a difference. We are encouraged to celebrate Human Rights Day by advocating non-discrimination, organizing activities, raising awareness and reaching out to your local communities and beyond

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT
In order to help the poor children, from becoming drop out and illiterate due to poverty in the family, ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST identified such children from the slums and helped them by providing sponsorships to pay their fees, books and other educational needs. We supported successful children to pursue higher education without break and develop their carrier. The underprivileged youth are encouraged and guided to do academic studies in colleges, polytechnics and nursing professionals. We also provided uniforms to the needy children.

WOMEN SHGs TRAINING PROGRAM
ADAIKALAM ( Refuge) TRUST gives training to interested groups and organizations on the formation and running of SHGs and linked with Nationalized Banks at various locations for issue of loans. All the women SHG members have been facilitated to initiate the Self Employment trades successfully and because of this, the women become self reliant and independent. The income level of women, who are involved in these income generation activities has risen considerably
